One Down!

And several more to go :)

I finally got around to lining a cabled purse I made for a girlfriend.

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick n' Quick in wheat
Needles: US 13 circular
Lining: random fabric remnant I picked up some time ago
Pattern: my own

The purse was knit in the round so I only had one seam (the bottom) to worry about. With such thick yarn and big needles the knitting portion only took a couple of hours. I'm very very pleased with this and am looking forward to making another one for my sister-in-law.

Gorgeous! Do you know where I can find a tutorial on lining knitted bags? I have a cabled bag I made that calls for lining it with a tote bag as an insert, but I would rather line it in fabric.

I love that purse. It's fantastic!
Hey, that's really fantastic! Think you could write the pattern out for us?
I think I could actually. I'm to start a second one in a week or so, and can transcribe my envelope scribbles then :)
